Very interesting and rare document on the award of the Iron Cross for non-combatants to the Prussian diplomat Friedrich Freiherr v. Otterstedt (1769 - 1850), Prussian envoy in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden as well as Prussian chargé d'affaires in Switzerland and from 1823 in Baden.
