Finest black cloth. The waistband with silver embroidered rank insignia of a marshal of Italy (somewhat frayed in places due to wear). With separately sewn Italian sovereign eagle in bullion embroidery on a red ground. Black lacquered leather visor with green lining on the back. Black leather straps on silver-plated buttons. With original white silk lining with maker's label of L. Baretta & Co. and Italian royal coat of arms above. Wide light brown leather sweatband.
