100 Order of Saint Maurice and Saint Lazarus: Commander's 1st Class set, 1858-1861.

 The neck decoration gold and enamel, on the beautiful, long original ribbon of green moiré silk. The breast star silver, the overlays gold and enamel. Reverse fitted with pin for wearing. On the back carrying hooks. Fine diamond pointed example.

Both pieces together in especially nice original green leather case of issue. The lid with the crowned cipher "VE" of King Victor Emmanuel II. in gold embossing.

Splendid set of finest jeweler's quality. Rare in this early version.
