382 Letter of nobility from Emperor Franz Joseph I King of Hungary to the factory owner and landowner Adolf von Schenk - Lédecz.

The text in Hungarian is handwritten caligrapy on seven parchment pages and partially gilded and illuminated in colour. One page with a splendid hand-painted coat of arms of the nobility, dated 16 August 1883.

In a splendid dark red velvet binding with gilt and enamelled overlays with the initials "ASL" (Adolf von Schenk - Lédecz). The inside lining of white moiré silk. Front inner lid with maker's signature "August Klein" embossed in gold.

With attached gilt seal capsule with the wax seal of the Kingdom of Hungary. The lid of the capsule with applied Hungarian coat of arms.

In the original case of black leather with lining of finest white moire silk.

With German translation by the court advocate Dr. Ludwig Lukats von Borosnyo and various accompanying letters and documents.

Especially beautiful and splendid Hungarian noble letter in excellent quality and condition.
