Colored illuminated parchment document depicting the Golden Medal of Valor within laurel and oak branches and the inscription: "MAGGIORE DI ARARTIGLIERIA IN S. RE. COSTAMAGNA UGO / MEDAGLIA D#ORO AL V.M." This is followed by the text of the reason for the award, written in Latin capitals. Dated Torino, Giucno Dicembre 1940 / R.D. 29 Novembre 1941.

Very nice dedication leaf to a recipient of the highest Italian valor award from WW2.
