 Breast star to the Grand Officer's Cross. Silver, the applied order's cross gilded and enameled. Reverse fitted with pin for wearing. Carrying hooks on the back. The center is made of two parts.

Interesting type of unusual manufacture probably from the period of Italian fascism (1922 - 1943 / 1945).

In the entire award period from 1855 - 1945 only 107 Grand Officer Crosses were awarded, 21 of them from 1918 - 1945.

Very rare breast star of this most important Italian military merit order.
