369 Belt Buckle for a high Polish officer, last third of the 18th century.

Brass - fire gilded with applied silvered shield with the Polish white eagle. The lock itself with openwork rocaille - vine work. The eagle shield is surmounted by a prince's crown and underlaid by a bishop's staff and sword. On the back there is a hook and a spike for the leather strap. The high quality of craftsmanship suggests that it must be an accessory made for a high military or civilian dignitary.
